For Career-gap professionals

A structured re-entry into software for professionals with a career gap

You stepped away for a year, three years, maybe more. Health, family, a sabbatical, a startup that did not work out. Our return-track is built around the specific challenges of getting back in: stack drift, confidence, and interviewers who do not know how to ask about the gap politely.

Who this is for

We coach a steady stream of returners every year, and the pattern is the same: skills are still there, the stack has moved, the confidence needs rebuilding, and the resume needs framing. We will help with all four.

What gets in the way today

  • Tech stacks have moved since you last shipped code; you don't know what to relearn first
  • Recruiters skip resumes with gaps without telling you why
  • Most bootcamps target college graduates and don't know how to coach a career switcher

How our programme is built for you

  • Curriculum prioritises the modern half of the stack (Next.js, TypeScript, Docker, LLMs)
  • Resume and LinkedIn coaching that frames your gap honestly without apologising
  • Mock interviews that include gap questions, scripted by senior hiring managers
  • Placement targets companies our team knows are open to gap returners

Time commitment and schedule

12 to 15 hours a week

Mix of weekday evening and Saturday morning live classes, plus weekly one-on-one mentor reviews. The structure is intentionally tighter than the homemaker track because the goal is faster re-entry.

Programmes we usually recommend for this track

What success looks like in this track

  • Land a mid-level engineering or AI role within 3 to 6 months of completing the bootcamp
  • Rebuild your portfolio and GitHub so a recruiter sees a current engineer, not a gap
  • Walk into interviews with a story about the gap that gets you the offer instead of the rejection
